CoSN is the premier membership organization designed to meet the needs of K12 education technology leaders. CoSN’s resources support the entire IT team in a school system/district.  CoSN offers members the opportunity to access their peers, thought leadership, and participate in local chapters (in 30 states).

CoSN represents over 13 million students in school districts/systems nationwide and continues to grow as a powerful and influential voice in K-12 education. CoSN also provides opportunities for companies that support the K12 edtech community to participate as corporate members.

The State Educational Technology Directors Association (SETDA) is the principal association
representing U.S. state and territorial educational technology and digital learning leaders. Through a broad array of programs and advocacy, SETDA builds member capacity and engages partners to empower the education community in leveraging technology for learning, teaching, and school operations.

The National Coalition for Technology in Education and Training (NCTET) is a non-partisan, non-profit 501(c)(3) organization of education stakeholders that promotes universal access to innovative teaching and learning by acting as a convener and catalyst for the effective use of technology in education. We envision a world where educators empowered by technology prepare all learners for success in the workforce, citizenship and life.

Based in Washington, DC, and founded in 1993, NCTET organizes policy briefings and issue forums, produces white papers, recognizes exemplary leadership in education and technology, and creates networking opportunities. NCTET's Board includes representatives from the major education associations, leading non-profit organizations, and corporations.

Established in 2020 by the Global Resilience Federation, K12 SIX is a nonprofit threat intelligence and best practices sharing community for members of the U.S. K-12 education community committed to preventing and responding to cyber threats, together.

With support from K12 SIX staff leveraging dozens of data sources and analytic tools, school and district IT teams share warnings about cyber threats, help each other mitigate potential attacks, share best practices, and develop K-12 specific tools and resources.

Collaboration is the best way to keep pace with K-12 cyber threats.
