This event is provided by the Tennessee Educational Technology Association (TETA)  - as a part of Summer Institute.

Teacher Day is a day-long FREE professional learning event for educators. Breakfast and lunch will be provided. Those attending all day will receive a certificate of attendance. All educators are invited to register to attend (public/private/any state). Door prizes will be given away at the closing session (must be present to win).

IF YOU ARE INTERESTED IN PRESENTING, the deadline for submitting a session for consideration is Wednesday, May 1st. Please DO register for the event. Presenters will be notified of acceptance no later than Monday, May 6. A schedule of sessions will be released no later than Friday, May 17. TETA SI Teacher Day 2019 is a free day of professional learning for educators (public/private/any state). Breakfast and lunch will be provided. 

In order to make this the best day of learning possible, we need YOU to submit to present. 

Our goal is to have a wide variety of topics that give teachers HANDS-ON EXPERIENCE with the content or tool. We are also asking that all submissions be driven by the ISTE Standards for Educators (https://www.iste.org/standards/for-educators) or the ISTE Standards for Students (https://www.iste.org/standards/for-students). 

Please complete the form linked above and provide the required information. You will receive a copy of what you submit via email after submitting. 

TIMELINE:

• May 1st - Deadline to submit a proposal
• May 6th - Primary presenters of accepted presentations will be notified by email by this date. A request for RSVP/acceptance will be included in that email. 
• May 17th - Schedule of sessions will be released
