The TETC Annual Conference is the place to be for:

  • TEACHERS AND TEACHER LEADERS of all disciplines who are determined to achieve success with their students in today’s technology rich classrooms
  • ADMINISTRATORS who aspire to be effective leaders within classrooms and schools of today and tomorrow
  • TECHNOLOGY PERSONNEL who need to be on the cutting edge of technological innovations in K-12 education.

 

TETC 2023 Call for Educator Session Guidelines:

TETC’s professional development educator sessions provide learning opportunities that are intended to provide attendees with tools and knowledge to strengthen their professional practices.  Providing high-quality professional development sessions that explore and discuss critical education/edtech issues, best practices, emerging technologies, trends, and insights led by practicing educational leaders is the main goal of the conference. 

 

TETA values equity, diversity, inclusion, and access for all people as core principles in our work. Conference sessions will reflect and model these values in subject matter, speakers, and panels. Sessions that highlight all areas of Educational Technology are encouraged. Many popular TETC sessions are interactive, offer collaborative networking, and stimulate peer learning in a variety of forums.

Session formats:

Panel Discussion:       2-4 presenters share case studies or expertise on a topic before opening to discussion and Q&A.    
EDTalk:  An expert on a topic shares findings, case studies, practices, or methodologies before opening to Q&A.

Roundtable Conversation:

Moderated group conversation on a theme or topic. Highly participatory.

 

Successful Proposals:

Due to the significant number of education session submissions we receive

each year, not every proposal can be selected. Strong submissions feature:

 

·        Address a current or important topic in education.

·        Explain how his or her work has been implemented in a classroom,

school, or district.

·        Demonstrate creativity and show how an innovative strategy

addresses a challenge.

·        Clearly define the outcomes for participants.

Proposal Requirements:

 

·        All speakers must agree to register for the conference by 

September 8, 2023, to attend the 2023 Conference in person, and

to present an in-person session. 

·        The first presenter of an accepted in-person session will get a

discounted registration fee of  $120.

·        Sessions titles and descriptions need to be short and to the point. 

·        Session lead please select all areas of interest when submitting.
